Live Music on the Patio | Saturday November 16th at 4pm Bring your friends out to the patio to enjoy FREE live music and a glass of wine while listening to the tunes of Harrisong! Harrisong is comprised of extraordinary vocalist Karen Harris backed by husband Wightman Harris on guitar and vocals. Karen draws from years of choral experience and provides the basis for her husband, Wightman, to wrap his harmony around. The resulting heartfelt vocals are the trademark of Harrisong. Bruce Hulsey, stalwart bassist for years in Little Rock, quite ably mans the low register in fine fashion. Adding multi-instrumentalist Jeff Clanton to the mix rounds out the band. Clanton’s diverse musicianship on mandolin, guitar, slide guitar and B-bender brings the instrumentation to life with his deft solos adding character and flavor to Harrisong’s overall presentation. Song selections include originals by Harris and Clanton coupled with unpublished songs written by friends the Harris’s have met along their musical journey. The choice of covers in their repertoire includes many obscure songs not typically heard by standard cover bands. These are the elements that give Harrisong their unique niche. The group has emerged on the Central Arkansas scene and is steadily expanding into the numerous venues offering music in the area.
