A well-crafted cross between The Beatles and Death Cab for Cutie." That's the intriguing description of Damon Mitchell's music recently given by a well-respected music industry photojournalist. And, after listening to this 23 year old's debut release, said synopsis makes perfect sense. Damon's hook- laden, musical-wares cleverly combines influences from the past and present in a unique concoction that will undoubtedly become his signature.
Damon - a songwriting, singing, southpaw six-stringer - recently appeared on stage as a guest guitarist/vocalist with America on their timeless hit, "Horse With No Name." Furthermore renowned drummer, Tris Imboden (Chicago, CS&N),is one of many notable guest artists on Damon's CD - proving that this young artist's respect for his influencers is clearly reciprocated. "There's unity amongst players within multiple genres on this record," Damon understates!

Live music on the patio | Saturday August 22nd at 4pm Come on out to the patio for a relaxing afternoon of live music with Harrisong! We will have beer, wine and wine-a-ritas chilled and waiting for you! No reservation needed!
Harrisong is comprised of extraordinary vocalist Karen Harris backed by husband Wightman Harris on guitar and vocals. Karen draws from years of choral experience and provides the basis for her husband, Wightman, to wrap his harmony around. The resulting heartfelt vocals are the trademark of Harrisong. Bruce Hulsey, stalwart bassist for years in Little Rock, quite ably mans the low register in fine fashion. Adding multi-instrumentalist Jeff Clanton to the mix rounds out the band. Clanton’s diverse musicianship on mandolin, guitar, slide guitar and B-bender brings the instrumentation to life with his deft solos adding character and flavor to Harrisong’s overall presentation. Song selections include originals by Harris and Clanton coupled with unpublished songs written by friends the Harris’s have met along their musical journey. The choice of covers in their repertoire includes many obscure songs not typically heard by standard cover bands. These are the elements that give Harrisong their unique niche. The group has emerged on the Central Arkansas scene and is steadily expanding into the numerous venues offering music in the area.
